It's getting too easy to find Prop.
No kidding.

From watching that video, Brad looks like he's got very good quickness and not even close to a low release.

Coach Mack said he's the best shooter he's EVER seen.

Redford's height -- or lack of same -- is indeed reason for concern as to whether his scoring ability will translate to the college D-1 game, but everything I've been able to find to read about this kid gives me a really good feeling about him. And I think it's okay to be cautiously optimistic about him because he's not going to be asked to carry the whole program at X the way he's had to do it in high school. Even with Stanley, Josh and Drew graduating, the cupboard won't be bare next year, and Mr. Frease is the incoming freshman likely to attract the most attention. If we have any kind of decent post presence as a counter balance, Redford's three-point range has to make you salivate. Patience guys. Let the kid get here and show us what he can do.

The Marion Hall boys shine again. I think "cautiously optimistic" is a proper term. Sean's job is to get him into situations to take advantage of his shooting prowes, and I trust he will if Redford plays Sean's D.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

You guys are way too focused on the wrong things.

Redford is smallish, and not jet quick.

So he's made up for that by having a lightning quick release and incredible accuracy.

He's overcome his weaknesses.

Drew is one of the shortest players in the NCAA, yet manages to get into the lane for that effective teardrop shot. How does he do it? By turning his disadvantage into an advantage by changing the timing of the relase.

Athletically, I see Redford and Wolf as similar. The difference between them was Johnny's shot was low, slow, and not accurate. If Redford can handle the ball like Wolf (decent, not great), run the offense OK, and shoot the lights out when he's open!!!

Making open shots will not be an issue for Redford. Getting open shots is what worries you guys. We'll it worries opposing HS coaches too, and they run 2 guys at him all night and he still get 53? It's not out of place either. He's gets 35+ EVERY SINGLE GAME. he hasn't been stopped. 12 3's, 5 FT, and 6 2 pt buckets.

By the way, how many of those shots in that video came off the dribble? Maybe 3/4 of them. How effective do you think he would be coming off screens or getting akick out from a big (his HD team has NO BIGS).

It's super excited about Redford. I think he can be a scoring machine from day 1.
