I mean, they have a 22 point lead against UMass, a team that we beat by 12 on the road. They somehow proceed to blow that lead, and end up losing 81 to 77 to an Atlantic 10 team. I guess I just really don't get the Orange.

We could be looking at Dayton vs. UMass at The Garden for the championship. That is assuming that Dayton can take care of a bad Ohio State team. Let's pray UD's star can stay healthy for this one.

Hah, great post! That was about as excited as I have been for a non-Xavier game all season, rooting for both the A-10 and against Boeheim and his ridiculous comments. The shots of the SU fans in the stands after the game were priceless!

It's time for Jim Boeheim to join Dick Vitale and Digger in the hoops nursing home. They have proven that they have lost touch with reality in their views of college basketball.

By the way did anyone catch "The Herd" on Espn radio yesterday. He basically calls Duke the Notre Dame of Basketball going 3 and 9 the last 12 years in getting to the sweet sixteen. All Hype, overated and overseeded. He mentioned in the Belmont game how the Belmont coach basically told his players to spread the floor and go one on one with their match ups. Herd's point is watch the opposing coach to see whether or not they respect the skill level of their opponent by the on the court strategy. Clearly, Belmont did not respect Duke and came within an official's call of taking down a 2 seed.

Cowherd has been yapping for a while now about Duke being "overseeded" and the ND of college hoops. In part, I think it's driven by the fact that Cowherd is all about the Pac 10. However, I also think the truth is helping to fuel his statements too. Although I'm not sure if I'm ready to give that pompous arse that much credit.

I would pay a hefty price to stand toe to toe with that over the hill blowhard Boeheim, point my finger in his chest, and say, "Do you get X now? How about the A-10? Do you get them now?"

You have to love that the 'Cuse has lost to the A-10 3x this season. So he finishes 2-3 vs A-10, and 0-2 vs. UMass.

Boeheim has played one non-conference road game in four years vs Virginia. He relies on the Big East schedule to make the tourney. That's why they should require the BCS schools to schedule at least one away game with a low to mid-major per year because otherwise, teams like OSU, Syracuse can lose to most good teams in conference but one or two good wins gets them in. Anyway, Syracuse is an absolute non-event again.
