JOSH DUNCAN STAR OF THE GAME!
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

SEAN really called a great second half.

What in the world was that last Georgia foul? Why foul now?

Re: New Half, New Thread
The team had nothing to do with this win. I truely believe that it was my New Thread, New Half idea that turned things around.
Seriously, this was a good half. Way to turn a loss into a win. I thank the lord almighty himself for the free throw line.

Thanks to the refs for calling the second half tighter.

Agree 100%, Alabama. If we had shot 5 FT's and UGA had taken 33, we'd be screaming about the unfair FT discrepancy, whether that was actually the case or not.
But, without living at the line in the 2nd half, we're going home.

As I said thanks to the refs for callinng it tighter in the second half. UGA throws a lot of elbows and watching them play this year when the refs call it tight they lose. Must be the thug index.

Great comeback!
I'm in Canada on business and had to leave for a meeting after watching the dismal first half. Just got back to check out the final score, which I did with much trepidation.
Can relax for the rest of the day now.
Kick butt on Saturday!
They are showing the CBS feeds on all the games with Rick Majerus as one of the studio analysts.

Hmmm.... I guess we'll need to wait until next year to challenge that '98 game.Mr. Neutral wrote:Once again, a Xavier team says all the right things before the game, and then puts on a Prozac performance during the game.
This will replace the '98 Washington loss as our most depressing NCAA loss ever, I'm pretty sure.
On the flip side it is satisfying to be in position(3 seed) to potentially suffer an embarrassing loss.
