Not much improvement in our RPI

Postby Mr. Neutral » Sat Jan 14, 2012 9:08 pm

Following today's game, our RPI is 42, and our projected final RPI is 48, with a final regular-season record of 19-11.

That won't get it done without an A10 tourney run.

Warrennolan has X as 41 for today. I guess its a rounding issue.
Plus they have X as predicted 29 IF X is 20-10.
Who knows?

Keep winning and everything will be fine.A win at UD would be a big help.

Makes sense that RPI wouldn't move much from the win. Not a big win by any stretch but would have been another bad loss.

RealTimeRPI.com still has X losing every remaining road game except GW. We need to pick up at least 3 additional road wins, I'd say.

Unreal. And to think we were being touted to run away with this 5 weeks ago.

I would bet big money that XU wins more than one remaining road game. This team wasn't as good as the #8 ranking in mid-December, but now the hate has gone too far the other way. I'll predict 3 more regular season losses and a 22-8 record heading into Atlantic City.

RealTimeRPI.com has us at #41 after tonight's win, but they still expect us to finish 19-11 with a final RPI of 48. We definitely need to win as many as possible of our remaining road games, and we can't afford any slip-ups at home.

Warrennolan has us at 35 without the UC win over UConn.
RPI forecast is 21-9 and 26 in rpi.
