I think Wolf would still be getting some PT. I don't think Dante is playing the point anymore, at least when Stan is in there. Stan plays the point when he and Dante are in at the same time.

My guess is that Wolf would be getting a few minutes each half. This was probably a win/win for Wolf and X. Wolf goes somewhere where he gets more PT. And X gives his minutes to Graves and Jackson. If Wolf were still here, I wonder if Graves would be getting any PT.

Actually against George Washington Sean was letting Dante run some point guard at times. He hasn't been doing this very often, but Dante definitely had some playing time as the number 1 ball handler for small stretches. I don't see this happening much more often as Drew will play more then he did on Saturday.

I agree that earlier in the season Dante played some point. But the last 5 or 6 games it seems that Stan runs the point when Lavender goes out.

Mich, relax a little. You dont want to read about Drew's ankle, but several of us do. A healthy Drew makes our season magic. Without him, or with the limited Drew we have seen since Charlotte, we are not as dynamic.

As for disagreeing, jeeze get a little thicker skin without resorting to the turd retort.

Mich Mauskie: If you've attended every game, then you should be able to recall Josh Duncan's previous back and ankle injuries. Yes, injuries are part of the game but they do have a significant impact on a team. So, you are overreacting.

Over the years I competed with Dustin Dow and worked with Bill Koch. Over the span of 34 years I observed several facts that are even more prevalent and true today than they were say 10 or 15 years ago when there were two papers competing for readers.
First, neither Dustin nor Bill has anything to do with decisions as to how much space is or isn't given to either school, where stories are placed, how many stories are given to each writer and consequently each school. EDITORS DO THAT.
Second, now that there is only one paper, expect the disparity in the coverage given UC over Xavier to be even worse. Some thinkers at the Enquirer believe size does matter.
Both Dow and Koch work hard at what they do. In addition to basketball, Koch aklso has a D1 football program to cover and Dw has notonly Xavier but a NATIONAL weekly basketball piece to write. It is not easy to come up with interesting materials for a national piece without one helluva lot of phone calls and work. But that's his lot.
Since I used to work with Bill, I know how he works and if you want to talk about effort, both of them work very hard at what they do. Their styles are different, but neither of them just throws in a couple of quotes and moves on.
Face it, despite the fact that Dow does an excellent job of covering Xavier, UC will always get the lion's share of space and number of stories instead of Xavier simply because they are the University of Cincinnati. It has been that way for at least 50 years and will continue to be so since there is one paper here.
