i would definitely like to see us play duke. it just sucks that we would play them in rebuilding (hopefully not too much) year, instead of a year like this one. i would love to see us meet them in the tourney this season.

Opening game of 90-91 (I believe) in Cameron. Big picture on the Cintas wall on the north side of Brian Grant and Grant Hill. In the left hand corner there is a picture of the head of one of the Muskie Fans in a Lew Hirt cap. That would be me, Olsingledigit. I was there with a bunch of LHS gang and we were sitting almost on the bench with the players.

Xavier played at Duke in 1993. I went to the game since it was played on my birthday. Until late in the game, Brian Grant was keeping X in the lead however Duke made a late run to win. Great atmosphere though.

You are right 1993. I always back it up a couple of years. Pete was the coach that year. We could hear everything they said in the huddle at time outs. Great atmosphere, dumpy place.

I think Xavier is going to be awesome next year. Although I said this wasn't going to be a good year so obvioulsy I have no clue ;) which alot of you already know that. There is no better place to watch a game then at Hinkle, that place is awesome. It's dark and just has that old peach basaket feel.

This is great can't wait for the game @ Cintas next year...Butler will be pretty young, losing 5 big contributors, but should be a fun game...X loses Burrell, Duncan, and Lavender, too. So completely different teams next year, but both teams will be good, no doubt.
