How good is the Xavier program?

Well tonight the underclassman went for 58 of the 75 points. I would say Xavier is a freaking gold mine.

If you look at the last 20 years, I think it would hard to argue that X isn't one of the 25 best programs in the country.

What I like more than anything is that the program continues to get better and better every year.

To your point, we have a lot coming back next year and we have 2 consectutive recruiting classes coming in that have a lot of talent.

If X was a stock traded on the NYSE, we would be a great buy with lots and lots of upside.

i agree with both of your comments - HOWEVER

i still feel we need a final four to SOLIDIFY our spot as an ELITE program ... this could be our year .... lets hope

In my mind, there's no doubt we are a Top 25 PROGRAM.. It's tough to crack the Top 10-15 without at least a Final Four appearance, but a solid Top 25 nevertheless.

20 20-win seasons in the last 25. I don't care what conference you play in; that's huge.

We need to keep the same coach for about 15-20 years and the NCAA tourney success will be a given. Yeah Xavier has continued to win but changing coaches has made it more difficult to build the program into an even bigger program then it is. If Sean sticks around with his ability to coach, recruit and build a team the sky is the limit for Xavier. I could see Sean taking Xavier to a legitimate top 10 team and final 4 contender on a regular basis if he sticks around and the university continues to support the program.
