The Wake Forest series would be great. I hope they work that out. Screw UK and Gonzaga. Cowards!!

Getting a game, let alone games, with UK is just never going to happen.

First, we would never get a home and home. The game would have to be the Northern Kentucky fan game at Riverfront, or at Rupp. I thought we weren't doing that any more.

Second, UK at this point doesn't need OOC SOS points, it needs wins. The SE conference gives them plenty of SOS. A game with X at Riverfront doesn't make sense.

Third, unlike Louisville, the Kentucky legislature is unlikely to get involved on behalf of X.

I wouldn't want X to play UK down in The Homerdome anyway. If X won the Licking river would flood, then the Ohio, then the Mississippi and so on... WF will happen....ALSO, where is X looking into in November, Puerto Rico or Virgin Is?

florida may disagree with this. they scheduled all sorts of wins out of conference and it did nothing for them. not scheduling anybody actually puts a lot more pressure on teams from leagues like the sec because they have nothing to fall back on if they struggle.

I heard the interview on-line. Great job by Bobo. He wasn't afraid to call out other schools and tell it like it is.

A lot of guys wouldn't have been as direct. He absolutely trashed Kentucky, Indiana and Gonzaga. For sure, they won't be playing us any time soon- that is until we win a National Championship or if it is a set up National TV game.

XU also has the disadvantage of being in the same city as another D-1 team that is in a league with many of the schools who we could schedule against and who we used to play like Marquette, ND, Providence and even South Florida. That is a 16 team league and there is only one team that we can play out of it. (Sorry, Beelzebob doesn't count.)

Quite frankly, when you look at the entire picture and teams that we possibly can play, this year's sched is amazing.
