Here is an article about Brian Walsh. He seems to be a very good player and has been very consistnet over the last three years in the highest classification of boys basketball in PA.

Re: Brian Walsh
I think that was Brian sitting in the recruit area at the St. Joe's game. I'm sure he appreciated the big game feel at Cintas.

I know he gave a verbal last fall (October) ... has he signed a LOT as yet?
Where do we stand with him?

Re: Brian Walsh
And to think that they will compete with Derrick, BJ, CJ, Dante, Adrion, and Jason
for PT....
Naw, Sean ain't leaving this vineyard for a program that will be on probation, ineligible for the dance, and have a limit on recruiting and scholarships.
Book it!

That was Walsh at the St.Joes game, I sit right there. There was another recruit that you can tell they asked Walsh to welcome, no clue who he was though.

Re: Brian Walsh
Wise: don't overlook Jameal McClean will be eligible next year; frankly Walsh seems an ideal redshirt candidate given the abundant talent at SG/SF spots.

Re: Brian Walsh
What were McClean's stats like at Tulsa? Is he another CJ type guy who will get a lot of minutes right away?

Re: Brian Walsh
Jamel is more of a Derrick Brown type player. He's 6'8 230, ultra-athletic.
I know as a true freshman at Tulsa, in limited minutes, he had a few double-doubles and was one of their top rebounders and shot blockers.
I think he will definitely have an impact next year.
We will be absolutely loaded in the front court next year with Love, Brown, Anderson, McLean, and Frease.

Re: Brian Walsh
Oh my! Yep, sure did forget about J Mac; As a Freshman at Tulsa he averaged 17 minutes a game, 5 boards a game and 6.5 ppg.
He also shot 55% from the field and was 42% behind he line.
He was just 56% at the free throw line, but not to worry, as soon as Millersdad get his feet corrected he'll jump into the 75% range.
But Joe, I wouldn't be forecasting any red shirt decisions ... seems to me that Sean says minutes depend on practice, and he will see a lot of Brian between June and November
It appears that pretty soon we will catch up and pass UD as a basketball power.
