Good point, joe, but A-Train probably uses his left hand as his primary shot-blocking hand, along with rebounding.

He turned 36 last October, so it's reasonable to assume that, as Sinatra put it, the days are dwindling down to a precious few re A-Train's NBA career.

BG: Correct; other than the most avid XU followers, you can take quite a few bar bets on that one. Most know Grant & Hill lasted a long time, and fewer than half even recognize Aaron Williams even played in NBA. Exceptional team oriented role player--who'd thought one of those could see 15 yrs. in NBA.

And when Aaron played at Xavier, he was constantly criticized by fans and to some extent coaches as being soft and not sufficiently aggressive. In his current role he often plays center on defense going up against giants.

To be fair, bball, A-Train's skills and aggressiveness both developed as time went on, and he certainly was a much better, tougher player after years in the CBA and NBA than he was in his first few years at X.

He certainly had a much longer and more productive NBA career than anyone would have guessed from watching him at X.
