I hate to get away from X's great win today but I just read something interesting on CBS Sportsline. CBS Sportsline's expert, Gary Parrish, has predicted that the A-10 will get 5 bids in the big dance. They consist of:
1) Xavier
2) Rhode Island
3) Dayton
4) St. Joes
5) UMass
What I find significant about his prediction is that he has the A-10 getting more bids than the ACC, which has four, and just as many, 5, as both the PAC-10 and the Big-10. Could this possibly happen?

Re: State of the A-10
Probably not, but I see 4 bids- the same as the ACC.
Look, other than Duke and NC, the ACC is weak as hell this year, they'll probably give Maryland a bid and probably Clemson, but the rest of the league sucks.
The Little 11 is down this year too. Because of the amount of mediocre teams around, the A-10 is in better shape than the MVC has been in past years.
