Re: Xavier recruits and transfers
Getting Ingram would be a huge pickup. . Very tough competition. North Carolina, Kansas, Baylor and others. Go X.

Gym from Delhi. We are losing 4 guards ( Jones, Kunkel, Boum and Tandy). We have Green and Ducharme as guards coming in with McNight as a portal guy. I think we could easily add two more. Not sure if Ducharme is a guard or SF.

Re: Xavier recruits and transfers
Interesting news after Auburn signed Denver Jones and may not pursue Quincy Olivari, and now his visit to Auburn has been canceled. Xavier was supposed to have Olivari on campus April 22-24 but will now have him this weekend. In addition, QO said he wants to decide before his graduation on May 5. I think X getting on this so quickly is a good sign if the staff can knock this out of the park this weekend. He would be an excellent addition to Dayvion Mcknight as a good point guard driver. Olivari is an excellent spot-up shooter and could make the guard positions come together rather nicely. QO also gets to the line a lot, shoots at a 79% clip, and is a decent rebounder.

I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Muskieman landing Quincy Olivari would be great. Throw in Armstrong and Shedrick and it would be a great weekend.

I heard Jeff Goodman say that X might have some good news in a few days.... don't know what that means or where he is getting that news. I also heard Armstrong is being courted by some school and has shown signs he likes them, too...it wasn't X, but I can't remember who or where I saw that story. It might have been a providence source. I do know that Ike was supposed to have a Providence visit, and it has been canceled for this weekend.Kevin Reilly wrote: ↑Thu Apr 13, 2023 8:55 pmMuskieman landing Quincy Olivari would be great. Richard Coren
The Graham Ike visit is off for this weekend, hoping to reschedule soon.

Wyoming transfer Graham Ike was predicted to go to Providence, but things have changed as I mentioned when he or Providence canceled his visit. Heat check hoops is reporting, Gonzaga and Xavier seem to be the frontrunners.

Drew McKenna is the No. 65 player in the 2024 On3 Industry Ranking. The 6-foot-8 small forward He has taken unofficial visits to Butler, Georgetown, Maryland, and Virginia Tech. But his visit to Georgetown was with the old staff. McKenna said. “I’d like to see Butler, West Virginia, Xavie and the new staff at Georgetown.
His comments on Xavier “Their intensity stands out for me. They play well, they play together as a team, and they play a lot of defense. They’re just a hard-nosed, physical team. I talk with coach (Sean) Miller and the assistant coach Adam Cohen a lot. Our relationship is pretty good, and they’re excited about recruiting me.
“They play with a lot of wings and big guards. I think I could fit in perfectly there because I’m able to shoot, stretch the floor, dribble, and make decisions with the ball.”

Re: Xavier recruits and transfers
X dodged a major bullet when 6'8" wing from NC State, Jack Clark, chose Clemson over X. He makes 1 out of 4 threes and also shoots poorly from two. I don't understand going after him, as X already has Hunter at Swain. He must have lost a poker bet with Clark's dad.
