How do you know Miller did the right thing when you don't know exactly what Free did to warrant suspension?Kevin Reilly wrote: ↑Tue Sep 27, 2022 8:18 pmFreemantle should laugh in his face? What world do you live in? That would work out well. Freemantle is a above average scorer but a far cry from the tough Xavier big men of the past 25 years. If he can't take hard coaching or if he can't follow team rules than he has to go. No one can exist with a different set of rules than his teammates. Miller did the right thing. The coach is in charge not the player. Can't have a team that way. Maybe Steele will take him.
Miller's track record is much more questionable than Free's.
The blind loyalty and support for Coach Miller is incredible. We didn't show the same grace and understanding for Will Wade.

And two little teeth in the front?
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Re: Fremantle suspended indefinitely
Obviously whatever it is, he is entitled to his privacy. But of course causes everyone to go to all these worst case scenario guesses. Everyone has already assume player and coach are not getting along. It could be as simple as he missed some classes or a session with Sister Fleming. And if so, I could see coach reaffirming that the student part of student-athlete means you don't get to blow off academic assignments.

Re: Fremantle suspended indefinitely
Where are our Insiders on this board? I'll wait to hear what happened before burying Free, despite his attitude (which was bad last year). Miller is a disciplinarian, so I know where I'd put my money on, but again, will wait and see. It would hurt if he is lost, b/c he is a talented offensive player, but I think he would see a lot more pine than last year because he plays poorer defense than the statue made of me in front of the Moderator's Hall of Fame.

Re: Fremantle suspended indefinitely
this is also an ignorant take. no one is DEFENDING what he did. we are simply MOVING ON. that's what Freemantle should have done if he didn't like what Sean was selling. he chose to STAY. get on board or suffer the consequences. Sean will face his at the beginning of this season, and then MOVE ON.xaviermuskie2003 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 27, 2022 4:27 pmWe all know what Sean did and for some reason 95% of this board is stupid enough to defend him.
Maybe Sean just wanted someone to hang out with during his own suspension. If so, he should have chosen an end of the bench player instead of Free.
you should, too.
