Sources: Jay Wright is expected to step down at Villanova.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Jon is not reporting that Sources: Fordham's Kyle Neptune is expected to be Jay Wright's successor at Villanova.

Hate this for our conference.

Outstanding coach and recruiter. Great person. Scandal free. Everything you want in a coach.

Well done Mr. Wright.

It should be known that Jay Wright had been thinking about retirement for several weeks. Wright is 60 and has a family. He’s put up a Hall of Fame career already. The NBA has called a number of times. He turned down offers and stayed at Villanova. He’s ready to end coaching.

Not good for the conference. The BE just restocked with coaches and the anchor retires.

The New coach was a long time Villanova assistant who had a 1616 record at Fordham this year; could this be Steele redux ?
