It still feels like Kunkel has been cheated given the number of games he was held out of. The delay should not only give him eligibility this year but give him an extra year of eligibility given the NCAA's inability to issue a decision prior to the season.

This is great for X but mixed for Kunkel. I'm sure he is excited to help the team win but probably a bit upset he missed out on part of the year due to administrative issues out of his control.

This year won’t count against a players eligibility, so X will still have him for a couple of more years AFTER this year.
