Game day X vs Oakland Thread
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Well they may just be Oakland but X has lit them up. 38-6

One thing I will say, and it is early, but they don't look like the same club as last year. I know it is Oakland but you still have to make shots.

Well, what a first half. 53-12 I wonder what the naysayers will have to say about this!

So not having a 6’7” forward handle the point is a good thing? Will be a fun team to watch. Finally a PG

I am sure Oakland used zone the whole game because they were removing from Covid. I would have liked to see our guys go against a man to man. 1 game down how many to go is anyone guess. I see the Tennessee game canceled How many more will bit the dust from the Chinese virus?

Hard game to measure a lot as I do not believe Oakland has much back from last year, and size wise very small team. Get a much better idea against Bradley as they have some veteran big kids who are not great, but far better than what Oakland can put up there. Johnson shot the ball very well, but his reputation is somewhat of a streaky shooter so who knows. 4 ft attempts, that may be a record.

It's just wonderful to have XUBBback. Good to see what the new guys can do. Loved the assists and team play. Really loved seeing what our super sophomores did. It doesn't appear that depth will be a problem this year. Should be really fun to watch this year, even if I can't be there.
Mark Twain was wrong. Golf is NOT a good walk spoiled. It is a shared personal experience in a majestic wonderland guided by God, whose name is called frequently during the round.
