Re: Land new transfer
made 42 % of his threes last year averaged 13.6 points and 4.7 rebounds per game. Sure it was for Gardner Webb but a shooter is a shooter Other transfers looking at X are Ferron Flavors Jr., and Justin Turner, NKU's Jalen Tate,
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Ferron Flavors Jr. Justin Turner, and Jalen Tate are all guards but according to AH size doesn't make a difference so at 6'1" to 6'5" sure one of them can play forward or center. I know that Turner could play right away. Tate is 6'5" but was recruited by UC's Coach when he was at NKU so look for that to possibly be the thing that drives Tate. Ferron Flavors Jr. shot 35.4 percent from the floor (134 of 378), shot 33.6 percent from 3-point range (95 of 283). He averaged 3.6 rebounds and totaled 36 assists and 20 steals, he is leaving Fairfield University where he played one season after transferring from South Mountain Community College.longliveskip wrote: ↑Sun Mar 29, 2020 9:27 amany of those other guys front court players that could contribute immediately?

As usual, your depths of miscomprehension are only dwarfed by your incredible ability to charm. Those who don't know what I'm talking about have never been to one of his Festivus dinners. First of all when did I say size doesn't make a difference? What I said was height doesn't necessarily define whether one is a post player or not. Did the Durant-Giannis analogy escape you? Kyzrex gave an excellent analogy of this with Scruggs. X's best all time post player, D West, was 6'9 when he "tip-e-toed". He set up on either block, or flashed in the lane. Rarely did he shoot a 17 foot jumper. Duncan and Doleman were as tall as West, but were perimeter players. Dollman was a more polished Jason Carter. Duncan was a classical pick and pop guy. Make him put in on the floor, and he was pretty ineffective. He rarely posted as well. Free is a hybrid post player, because he can score with his back to the basket, facing up, or shooting a 3. Facetime me if you need any clarification.
X needs an athletic wing to guard the likes of Swider, Bey, Tucker, and other post players - Dripping! As I said, I do agree with Mman about needing a post guy, but not one who averaged only 2 ppg more than I did last year. He'd make that transfer Skip got from Duke (Simions?) look like the great Obi Harris.

Re: Land new transfer
Guess we can hope. I'd rather have a scorer
