I thought Moore and Q were lockdown defender but Childress ate them up. Love Scruggs but that was a terrible last possession. Once again we have one player have a great game and the rest below average. Bad loss

Concede that those of you able to watch the game may have a better perspective in analyzing the contest.

With that said, there are a few things to consider:

- The shot selection was noticeably improved in the 2nd Half.
- For the most part, the team protected the basketball, with only 8 turnovers.
- Team battled back from 13 down with 7 1/2 minutes to go.
- Early foul trouble had X chasing Wake Forest from the get go.
- First true road game and after Exam Week played a role.

Yes, there were some real negatives, such as the lack of assists. Merely wanted to add a different slant.

It's official: this team blows dead donkey chunks. Obviously an embarrassing loss to a weak ACC team, but sadly, portends deeper rooted issues that aren't going to go away easily.
PS, our D is Overrated....

You cannot give up 80 points to a bad team and have a good defense.
