BTW, IMO Carter has the basketball version of the Yips! He looks afraid to shoot and has lost confidence in his shot. Hopefully he can get it back for the UC game.
Carter has definitely been backsliding the last several games. Maybe time to go to a smaller lineup now that KyKy is available. We have gotten zero production from our two transfers the last two games.
not sure I'd say ZERO production. Moore has still played decent D and in the Lipscomb game, he was 3-6 for 9 important points. Carter had 5 points, 5 points and 3 blocks against Lipscomb. As much as I like and wish we still had either Hankins and/or KC had their games where their stats were not that good. Remember the shootout and KC's 27 minutes shooting 0-5. Of course, we would all like to see Carter play like he played against X last year but maybe when someone else is off he will be that guy. osd don't fall into the trap of being like AH
Mman,

If you're going to plagiarize my salient points, at least give me credit for doing so.

when you have one and I do use it, I will.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Completely agree. I still like Carter, but he is missing threes and point blank labs. His minutes need to be cut, and Moore should be inserted in the starting lineup. Best three point shooter (until KyKy's sample size increases) and defender, great free throw shooter, and high IQ player. Most teams X has played/will play, including UC, who has Scott at the 4 spot, play a wing there. When Moore, Scruggs, and Kyky are in the lineup together, X may get reach the coveted bark for three straight 3's made in a game, a feat much harder than three defensive stops. It sure ain't going to happen with the current starting five.

Besides Tandy and Moore needing more playing time, ditto for Zach Fremantle. Points scored for minutes played is as good as anybody on the team. Only caveat to this is the amount of post feeds he receives per game is ridiculously low. If he put up six more shots a game he’d be averaging 12-14 points a game. Additionally, Carter will come around, but I would use Freemantle as a Four until he works his way back to being the player most of us believes he is capable of being!!!! ....Biggernlife

This post is in regards to "snoozer at the Cintas and is just MY opinion. While I agree it is partly due to play, I would also argue that its the insatiable drive for money. What I mean by that is the way the entire game is laid out. Almost everything is a commercial. There are 8 media timeouts per game, each one is nothing more than the PA announcer reading an advertisement. When he finishes there is sometimes enough time for the band to play a few notes, like one line of Sweet Caroline, or something else. Even during the unplanned timeouts, when X is on a run, an ad will be read after the fight song. How are the fans and especially the students supposed to get revved up? My brother-in-law used to make me go to one or two Dayton games per year and I would bring him to a couple of X games. He used to joke by saying "the air your breathing at the Cintas Center is brought to you by ______. At UD during timeouts the opposing coaches would have to scream during timeouts just to be heard because the band was playing so loud. At X the opposing coach can sit 10 feet away and not even raise his voice. I thought, I guess wrongly, that when the advertising ribbon was put around the floor, that that would be the advertising during games. Also, how exciting are things like "muscle cam" or listening to some DJ talk so loud that you can hear him on Victory Pkwy. I would like to see all advertisement on the blue ribbon only, and that during timeouts the band playing so loud that the opposing teams can't hear themselves think. That will get the students and fans revved up. Who knows, it might get people so excited they may buy a few more eight dollaqr beers.
