Re: Mack doing fine lol
Louisville will be fine with him as coach as long as they stay off probation. I've already heard him mentioned as a COY candidate

That will help inflate Mack's ego even larger. Sorry, can't get over how he handled things at Xavier his last year.
I continue to hear rumors from good sources that he was well into Louisville efforts which coaching Xavier. His last year of recruiting clearly something was going on and our complete flame out in BE Tournament, NCAA Tourney is further evidence.

Worst kept secret in college basketball last year that Mack was at the top of their list, hence the hit we took in recruiting. As a fellow ST.X and XU grad I hate to get down on an alum but he did us no favors.XU80 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 29, 2019 11:38 amThat will help inflate Mack's ego even larger. In the end, $$s were more important than ethics. With Louisville's history Chris should fit in nicely.

When I think back on his tenure now and courting other teams he reminds me of a guy I knew who would never look you in the eye but was always look over my shoulder to see who more important was there to talk too. He is past history to me now.

I knew a guy like that. Was an XU grad years before me... he was in politics and was a cogressman back in the 70s. First name Tom. He had other bad traits too.olsingledigit wrote: ↑Wed Jan 30, 2019 10:29 amWhen I think back on his tenure now and courting other teams he reminds me of a guy I knew who would never look you in the eye but was always look over my shoulder to see who more important was there to talk too. I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.
