Best line of the year. Of course the year is only 6 days old.Anti-Homer wrote: ↑Sun Jan 06, 2019 12:28 pmIf I were an ambulance chasing lawyer, I'd go to every X game and hand my business card out to everyone in the 1st 10 rows.

The unforced errors of this team is breath taking to watch.
It's a thing of beauty.

They also have 7 t.o.s and 1 assist. Flat....out.....embarassing. I hope Odom's cable service is out today.mumuskie87 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 06, 2019 12:30 pmX has got into the bonus with 10 minutes left but are only 4-8 from the line

The reason the game started at noon was so MU could serve XU their lunch.

Your best big has 2 fouls and you are down 14 in the 1H
Sometimes you just have to say WTF and roll the dice and put Hankins back in

Omg somehow Hardin must have sneaked into the game.
And scored a bucket
Need to get him off the court

Re: Muskies at Marquette
The problem with Xavier all year and going forward is they have no one who can shoot 8 ft out. I believe in Steele. He was left with little to work with this year and has filled the gaps as best he could.
Sometimes I think they play with the attitude that they are an elite team. When they start playing with a blue collar attitude I think they’ll see better results.

Good effort by X the last 8 minutes. The shooting was still pretty brutal, but they passed the ball around and didn't have a lot of one on one ball. They also had only one t.o. Scruggs is the only player who should have carte blanche with his shots. The game is still within reach.

Re: Muskies at Marquette
Jones is 2-7 from the line
I would foul him all day long and put him on the line
0-7 from 3
8 TO's and only 2 assists
Fortunate to be down only 9
Let's see what Steele and his staff come up with 2nd half adjustments.
Oh yea don't want to use the term "adjustments" and show ignorance
I for one don't understand why they can't work to get Welage some looks from 3 along with Scruggs
And frankly Castlin really provides nothing
I thought he might be a Malcom Bernard like player but hasn't provided much if anything offensively

Re: Muskies at Marquette
Welage and Scruggs shoot 45% from 3. Hardin, albeit in a limited sample, shoots 43%. The problem is the two worst shooters by far are taking way too many 3s. Until Steele tells them to pump the brakes, they'll continue to shoot and miss at a high clip. It is essentially a turnover.X4LIFE wrote: ↑Sun Jan 06, 2019 12:54 pmThe problem with Xavier all year and going forward is they have no one who can shoot 8 ft out. I believe in Steele.
