Dumb Questions. Coaching Insight?

Have no idea about these questions, nonetheless, despite some possible grief, need to ask them. For discussion sake, presume Travis Steele were to get the nod. What is the relationship he might have with Coach Rick Carter?

Were they adversaries for the Associate Position at X? Did they burn bridges between each other? Or, could they work harmoniously?

Sat behind the DePaul bench when Coach Carter was the top Assistant at DePaul under Dave Leitao. Evident that Coach Carter was the only DePaul Coach on that entire bench that belonged at the Big East level.

Possibly Coach Steele and Coach Carter are incompatible. Asking for some insight as to whether those two could be a fit? Given the tenure Coach Steele has at X and Coach Carter's X background and knowledge of the Big East, figured worth inquiring of those of you who may have some real insight.
