Miller’s dumbest decision was bitching his wagon the AH’s buddy Book Richardson . I’m sure that Miller’s bff Calipari will be in some hot water down the road as well.

Good points.

Frankly, when it came out that Calipari counseled Coach Miller to take the Arizona job and that the two were good friends, my respect for Coach Miller decreased immeasurably.

Maybe he will be vindicated, and if so, we can be happy for him, Arizona and College Basketball. However, concerned that his ultra-competitiveness and repeated NCAA Tournament disappointments may have swallowed him up.

Citing SM’s brief association with Book Richardson is guilt by association.
I’m no relative of SM. Just think a man shouldn’t be convicted in the court of public opinion with no credible evidence.

Ten years is brief?
Richardson was an assistant coach at Xavier for two seasons, starting in 2007, before following the Musketeers' head coach Sean Miller to Arizona in 2009.

No credible evidence? Brief association?

Should I, a family member or friend ever be defendants, would you be available to be a juror?

Completely understand you desire and position to ensure that more information is received. On that you posit a valid point. Minimizing what is known, however, weakens that position.

Sean issued a statement THROUGH THE SCHOOL that he will be vindicated. I guess we should let it play out before measuring him for prison stripes. Still not sure why the player was allowed to play - unless he received no payment. Guess we will see.

I hope he would not get prison time. Unless he lies to the FBI I can not see were Sean violated the law. I hope this in not a situation that the NCAA changes their rules and now only the big schools can afford to pay the best college players
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

So they have hours of phone taps supposedly. Is Sean the only coach they have on tape and if not, why haven’t others been named in the press?
With kids changing their commitments often late in the process, I’ve always wondered what the other team was offering. Even thought that when Tre decided against UCLA. I know many kids want to be closer to home but not all those, who seem set on one school til the last minute when another school comes out of nowhere and gets their commitment. I’m sure you can find things on 3/4 of college teams.

law firm that represents U of A came out with a statement that basically said, to sum it up, Deandre Ayton has never accepted any payment, etc. that he has done nothing wrong.

i, for one, am going to wait until i hear the actual audio of whatever the heck this wiretap is before i go throw Sean under the bus.

who knows what the heck was said, in what context, or whatever.

let's wait until EVERYTHING comes out before we throw a man's career/life down the toilet.

Hops,

If you're going to plagiarize my post (Fri in same thread: "You get in bed with someone like Book Richardson, you deserve everything that comes your way") at least show the courtesy of referencing me. BTW, if I had to take a guess as to another program which gives extra perks to players, it would be Kansas. They have had more than one player who drove around campus in a luxury foreign car, courtesy of one of their aunts or uncles who made $22,000 a year.

The cars parked outside the practice facility looked like the driveway at P Diddy's guest house
