Looks like prison time for Sean Miller!
Story just broke. He was captured on wiretap approving $100,000 payment to Ayton.

Just read that too.
I’m not sure if that actually breaks any LAW, but it sure breaks some RULES.
Have to imagine that Arizona won’t be a part of the tourney this year, and maybe not for a few years.

If criminal, could this mean Coach Miller might be making license plates for Buick's and Lexus' ?

Wow!
What a greedy, stupid sob. You get in bed with someone like Book Richardson, you deserve everything that comes your way. I hope AZ gets the death penalty, and that X doesn't get hit with any shrapnel. The timing couldn't be worse considering the SC & ES agent payments. The difference is no one within X knew this was occurring, whereas this was/is a systemic in AZ's program imo, with the head of the program not only complicit but clearly calling the shots.
If the NCAA wants to truly clean up these pay for play arrangements, they will look beyond this past year. I'm sure this is just a drop in the bucket. I hope it was worth it to put his wife, kids, parents, and brothers thru this. Incredibly sad for everyone but him.

Serious question: If it isn't a criminal case, why would the FBI be conducting the investigation?

with some of the top coaches from Coach K to Isso this could change Basketball as we know it. The NCAA appears inadequate to handle it and with the Billion dollars they are getting for this years Tourney if they lose the teams and players discussed the comment about East Tennessee a 2 seed might not sound too far fetched. They cannot let this continue
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

As of now, it is extremely unfair to compare Coack K to Miller. I'm no fan of Duke, but so far, the only thing that has come out is Wendall Carter may have had a meal paid for by an agent, which is sometimes permissible, but I don't know the distinction. Love or hate Duke, I would be stunned if they were punished for the latter.

I was listen to an espn website that was discussing Coach K and seems there is more coming. Like AH said too soon to convict any of these guys including Sean but looks like things are moving fast.

Really great of Sean to think about the reception his kids will get in school on Monday Sonofabitch.
