Holy cow. Now I'm worried I'll be dragged into this mess because I rode my Segway around the Arizona campus nine years ago.

Sumner got 7 grand?

i'd say we should be slightly worried.

Mack was only coach to comment and he obviously denied it.

The question is just WHO got the money....Summer or a family member?

Also...WHEN did they get the money......while still playing or afterwards?

And.....WHY did they get the money......to steer him to X or to steer him to an agent who would represent him in his negotiations with an NBA team?

Lots of questions still need to be answered.

kyzrex,
My thoughts exactly.
From https://www.yahoo.com/amphtml/sports/ex ... 38484.html

Only Xavier coach Chris Mack elected to release a statement. He said: “I have no relationship with Andy Miller or any of his associates. He plays no role in the recruitment of potential student athletes on Xavier’s behalf. Beyond that, our staff has never created a path for him to foster a relationship with any of our student-athletes while enrolled at Xavier. Any suggestion that I or anyone on my staff utilized Andy Miller to provide even the slightest of financial benefits to a Xavier student-athlete is grossly misinformed. We are prepared to cooperate with any and all investigations at any level.””

Yes there is reason for concern. Whether it is true or NOT.....the fact that the FBI or others named Sumner and or Xavier degrades to a degree the program and or those associated. X and coach or others may be totally innocent, but the fact that Xavier's Sumner and or father is named...may place severe doubts into many individuals mine. A lot of major programs have been named ...it sometimes comes with being a top program. Most people believe all the top college football programs have been doing $$$$ for play for years. Duke, North Carolina, and many others have dodged accusations before.. BE CONCERNED

so you are the guy they said rode around on a Segway passing out money and Dental tape! ;) ;) :)
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.
