Wright is right up there with Coach K as a ref intimidator

And wearing his watch outside his shirt sleeve is very stupid-looking, in my opinion.

No doubt there were bad calls that favored Nova today but the real issue is there are no men on the team. The players and coaches don't care about defense. You prove your manhood on the defensive end. When you don't D up you might as well tell your significant other that he/she is free to enjoy the company of the other team. Should you be single, just drop to your knees and do what is asked of you.

Mack has a great record but he has been coaching "girls" ever since he arrived. Where is the self respect? Where is the toughness that says you will not score on me? I know nothing about Mack's playing days but he has no clue how to coach defense. It is absolutely pathetic that Xavier has been abused year after year on the defensive end. Great we have won a strong majority of games but how do you feel good about the lack of self respect? Outscoring someone is not the same as imposing your will. Scoring more is simply superior talent but says nothing about who you are. Manning up and dominating the oposing team is the only way to be respected as a dominant player and team.

Not agreeing with this topic. Nova had 5 FT Attempts. We had 22. We lead the nation in FT Made. See Coach Mack as more of a Ref intimidator.
You can't beat a team hitting 16 of 34 3 balls.

What about wearing his watch outside his shirt sleeve?-- He apparently thinks he's Gianni Agnelli.

Pierre has gotten into Anti Homers stashe again. Refs had nothing to do wih the fact that we can’t guard the perimeter and Wright is a better coach.

So. Madness31, you insult our players. You insult our coaches. And you wrap it all up in creepy sexual references. Sorry, but I can't go along with any of it. "Boy."

Madness31 May be overly extreme at times but he’s more realistic than many on this board. Our offensive strengths are liabilities defensively (Bluiett, Macura, Kanter) and our defensive guys are often offensive liabilities ( Jones, Scruggs, Goodin), though I admit Goodin and Scruggs not as much lately. We need to outscore others cause we are not good defensively and that’s not all coaching or desire ( manning up). It’s just physical reality that we’re not quick. We have to hope our offense doesn’t have an off night.

you might be friends with madness but to say he is more realistic made me spit my Michter's Single Barrel and I am not too happy about that. Face it Madness hates Chris but his logic is false. Is Chris perfect, no but Wright wasn't perfect in Novas three losses, especially that butt kicking at Marquette, based on Madness' logic, Coach K isn't perfect in Duke's 5 losses. Now you go on to make some good points about the O and D side but Madness just believes that it is all Chris' fault and he is not a good coach which is flat out wrong.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.
