Cronin's Theme Song

Pretty much every time UC loses a game, little Mick's comments are - "we weren't tough enough".
Hope he is coach for life at UC.

Youtube Huggins' press conferences after losses at UC. He was Bob's Mimi-me, and he shows it in his rhetoric. One big difference: Huggins won more than 1 tourney game every 3 years in the Dance.

Dayhops talking. When it comes down to UC, IDGAS about them except watching them lose when they play against Xavier.

Yea..but when you live in the "Nati, you have a lot of people that drink the red Kool-aid. That includes the local media.
I despise UC and always root for whoever they are playing and not just when X plays them.
That's all.

UC is only relevant to the UC fanbase. Even this year, other than the locals, the national news talks about their lack of a real schedule regardless of their ranking. As for Cronin, 1 S-16 in nine years is almost Bengal-like. His offense is similar to X's defense. However, with the volume of the UC alumni base in Cincinnati, X can dominate but one good UC run and X is in the background-just is what it is. Read the Legends Club about NC, Duke, and NC State. Duke and NC State will always be behind NC because of the alumni. Even though Duke has been better, it just takes one better finish for NC and that is all the state will talk about. Maybe a little different feeling given Duke's overall accomplishments but Coach K and Valvano discussed it at length.

So, having selected Xavier as my home away from home, I eventually left Cincinnati.
Hooray! I moved onward.
Not to diminish the attributes of the town but after all it was over 60 years ago and anything off campus is no longer pertinent to me.
