I have no doubt that if JP was playing for Butler or UC he would be the most hated player by the X faithful of all time... :D

I'd think they would say that about any great player. How many times have we heard a opposing coach say he was glad they would not see this or that Xavier player.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

I thought that their board was pretty positive re:JP. . Guy played a crazy game.

Agreed.

I also thought this was an interesting nugget from a poster ."There were some bad calls, I agree. But this loss is clearly on us, not the refs." Refreshing accountability. What a concept.

Actually I read that thread as well as the game thread.
Have to say that their fans were classy.
Basically it was a tongue in cheek comment about hating JP and most comments were one of respect and wishing he was on their team.
Refreshing considering what is posted on the holier than thou folks on the Butler fan forums, calling Xavier players criminals and other stuff.
