Where does JP Macura's pro career stand?

Macura has had a disappointing year in respect to his consistency but he has shown great maturity in recognizing when he doesn't have it as well as when the team needs him. Him deferring to Bluiett once Tre has it going is part of the reason his scoring is mediocre this year. The other part is that he has vanished in several games. In most of those games he still did other things well like rebound, get steals and find open teammates. He has been huge keeping the team in games while Bluiett struggled and then allowed Tre to take over in the second half.

The offense is generally much better with JP in the game. This is important in the NBA whether off the bench or in the starting line-up. I agree for him to stick and get minutes a lot needs to go right. At this point, he needs to show some more consistency to close out the year. Generally he plays better against better competition so with the BE play approaching his stats may rise. Hopefully the officials get back to calling things fairly for JP. Calls stopped going his way after he showed a bit too much emotion several games back. He needs to get to the line and he needs to be able to play aggressively on defense, which he can't when officials target him.

JP needs to be a lights out shooter to have any shot at the next level. He is too unathletic to score against NBA talent like he does in college.

Same goes for Tre specially over last two games. Have to agree with MM in that I’ve never seen Tre’s shot look as off as it did yesterday as well as his carelessness with the ball.
