what a pathetic close to the half. I love chris Mack but my god his teams love to turn the ball over, have prolonged scoring droughts, and give up lots of points at the end of halves.

Last 4-minute meltdown is on CM. X had a 13 point lead, and for some reason, he takes the guys out who go them there, mainly Kantner and Marshall. M's defense has been very good, and with his length and ability to guard multiple positions, it makes it hard for teams to create mismatches against him.

Then, he leaves Goodin in with a minute to go, and he picks up his 3rd foul. To top it off, he brings Harden in instead of a true pg and better defender in Scruggs. However, coaches go thru slumps too. X is clearly better. If we stop getting cute, this should still be a double-digit win.

ASU plays 7 guys, and X plays 10. Perhaps pressing them and making them work harder may make them tired, and reduce their shooting percentage from 75 to 60%? Also, zone D is NEVER a good defense against a good shooting team.

The press is so wildly underused in college basketball. With our length I think it would paralyze asu. As it is we're letting 3 players who are smaller, weaker, and less talent drive by us and knock down threes. It's going to be hard to win if we don't start moving our feet on d and bothering some of their shots and passes.
