I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Tough to find anyone as universally liked as Skip in this industry.

My family was at the Final Four in Indy many years ago and Skip was coming down the escalator. He talked to us for a good 10 minutes, never once did we feel like we were holding him up. He was a GREAT MAN. I am sure he and Father Hoff tune sit together and cheer on the Muskies.

Seems like all agree including me that Skip was a great man. When he left X for Wake there did not seem to be a lot of disappointment especially because of his tournament record. He did well at Wake for a while but near the end he was on the bubble. His ACC record the last 2 years was 8-29. Let's say he was a great man and a good coach
