1st game - Zags and WVU are tied at 30.

starting to kick in, Just enough to squeeze a win. GO MUSKIES. GIVE US A CHANCE TO WIN IN LAST 2 MINUTES.

U of M had an open look at the end to beat the Ducks but it was just short - front rim.
Oregon had some big o-boards at the end to get the W.

Have to root for the. zags, not just an anti-Huggs wish but WVU's pressure is smothering. We have a first year PG and not a lot of depth. Could get worn down ( although it would be great to beat Miller and tHuggs in the same weekend and send both home)

I think X will try and play zone mainly, but when they play man, Gates in the only one who can credibly guard Az's big Laur., as he shoots 3's well, and also can post up. I still think he'll get his points, but hopefully, Gates can slow him down. Similarly, Gates can make Laur guard him 22 feet out, and try and beat him in space. At the very least it will keep one of AZ's bigs out of the lane. O'Mara and Jones need to be aggressive offensively, and try and get their bigs in foul trouble. They have 4 post guys, but Laur & Rist are the biggest and best ones.

I think X will try and run as much as possible, b/c AZ seems to be very good with their half court D. They'll need to make at least 8 3's to win this game, some in transition. Hope they remain hot from the FSU game, and continue to win the rebounding battle.

I hope we get a different color man for our game. This guy just doesn't want to shut up.

I'm concerned about the zebra's.
They have enjoyed blowing their whistle in the 1st game - 45 total fouls called with still 7 minutes left.
Does not bode well for X if that pattern follows in 2nd game.
X doesn't have the depth.
Plus think X needs to be physical with AZ's bigs.
