Confidence growing by the minute. Big time effort in the second half.
Possibly the most relevant/important phrase uttered by a game analyst in modern XU basketball history: "I know it was an 11vs a 6 and technically it's an upset, but this doesn't feel like an upset." That speaks volumes about the program.

Similar score -
This time - 76-65 vs. 77-64 back in 03.

SOM - helluva game
Tre - helluva 2nd half,
KG - three big 3's and one big dunkeroo.
JP 0-4 from and 2-6 from the line but still played a solid game.
You forgot Q. 8 pts, 9 assists, 5 rebounds, outplaying Melo.
He played a solid game except for 4 TO's in the 2H.
He stayed out of the foul trouble and made some clutch 2 FT's down the stretch.
Those were some huge FT's when X was up by 6 with just over 2 minutes to play to put X up by 8.
The guys finished 9-10 from the line down the stretch...and Q started that run.

Great second half by the team and the coaches. Credit Mack again with timely TOs and plays. Credit Bluiett, lays low and then strikes when it counts. Goodin can (and will) play better when it counts. JP got jinxed by Ian Eagle on his FTs. He had a helluva play late in the game when they needed it. Gates hits the three when he is set up. Bernard played an all around good game too.

I hope the O'Mara train keeps chugging!!

Florida Gulf was much better than a 14 seed.

I was looking at the rankings after last night's victory, and to your point above how could Maryland have even been a 6 seed? They are not in any top 25, rpi's and bpis around 50. What was the factor there as we all know the B10 was bad this year? Agree above, Gulf Coast would have beaten Md. as well.
