Re: NIT Bound
Good effort tonight. But I have a feeling we are going to be disappointed when the 68 teams are announced. Too many losses at the end, plus no Sumner will allow the committee to overlook Xavier. The NIT is not what anyone wants. At least it's basketball in March.

Re: NIT Bound
There is no way this team ends up in the NIT. Not one credible source has them out. Objectively they are a solid 10 seed. No bad losses 9 neutral or away wins. Good RPI top SOS, they are in.

Even by your retarded standards we're in the tourney since you called for a win against butler all week. And now it's not enough? You're effing stupid. Shut the hell up and get outta hereXU Captain wrote:Good effort tonight. But I have a feeling we are going to be disappointed when the 68 teams are announced. To quote that actor in Wall Street, "I don't know where you get your info., but I don't like it." X's ticket was punched yesterday.XU Captain wrote:Good effort tonight. Let's wait until Sunday evening and (hopefully) crow then. I just hope we get a seed worse than the 8/9 level but out of the Play-in level!XU Captain wrote:Good effort tonight. There is no one more enamored with the illusion of X playing in the NIT than than the captain. I hope he's not too disappointed when they call our name on Sunday.

the Captain is on leave. Just not too sure of someone that posts from servers identified with Yeshiva & Princeton Universities.

the committee held out to the last pick just to give him hope.MOSQUETERO wrote:There is no one more enamored with the illusion of X playing in the NIT than than the captain. I hope he's not too disappointed when they call our name on Sunday.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.
