I think the Dayton comparison is quite similar. Similar schools, programs, and coaches from same coaching tree. other teams have at least put up a fight after losing players. We looked we lost the Marquette game before the tip and and provided no fight at all against a borderline NCAA team. At least we will see then in an NIT game. Skip, so Mack is not a great game coach or motivator? So, why is that such a bad thing to say? Most fans I know think the same.

Personally I can't stand UD, but Miller coaches defense and makes great adjustments particularly for a team that was misssing its two best players for part of the year. MM, thanks for player evaluation for Duke. The excuses for the last few games are entertaining. At least we are better off than we were in 1983 or whatever some say on this board.
you CANNOT make this comparison at all. it doesn't fly and will never fly.

if Nova lost Brunson for the year and Hart was out for 2-3 games, then yes, i would give you that comparison. their losses would be equivalent to us losing Omara and Jones for a few games.

it's not even close.

how could possibly know or see this? were you in the lockerroom? were you on the floor for warmups? my lord you are grasping at straws just trying to find ANYTHING you can pin on Mack at this point.

it's unreal.

"most fans" you know? how many is that? half a dozen? or just Homer?
