11 point W.
Just win baby.
On to Nova.
Some nice individual stats -
JP was 7-7 from the line
Tre was 4-8 from 3
RaShid and Basketball Jones were 9-12 from the field
Kaiser had 10 boards
Q had 8 assists and 2 TO's - 4 to 1 ratio. Pretty damn good.
RaShid and Basketball played a total of 41 and had 22 points and 9 boards.

For all the members of the Sean Miller fan club, Zona plays Stanford at 11 Pm on the Fox.

Not a pretty win, but we won. Take it and run.
The boys will know if they handle the ball like that against Nova that they will get run out of the gym. I expect them to clean it up.
Lets see what we can do Saturday! Go X!

JP does not look comfortable at PG. 6 turnovers is not going to cut it, so Q needs to stay on the court. nova will shred our 2/3 zone.

My advice to Xavier team and coaching staff -
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=geDCtBQeN8c
Nova coming to your home court, a National TV game, no one expects you to win....what the f.

AH will shed you for saying that. He is the designer of that zone and thinks every school should employ it every game. Jimmy B is his only followerskyhops wrote:JP does not look comfortable at PG. 6 turnovers is not going to cut it, so Q needs to stay on the court. nova will shred our 2/3 zone.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

I would not say he was invisible with his 2 turnovers and one foul he stood out in his three minutes on the court. Of course they could be saving him for Saturday!mumuskie87 wrote:SOM continues to be an enigma. Great game against SH, invisible against Creighton and now DePaul.

Uhhhhh,
Spoke too soon. Face meet egg. MB finished with the same amount of points as he had when you inferred his ability is "on par" with the likes of Rodriguez, Blueitt, Martin, Hart, Macura, and the other 3s in the BE. BTW, he also had 4 t.o.s . I love the kid's effort, despite his LIMITED ABILITY RELATIVE TO HIS PEERS, and he has been a credit to the program. Feel free to take shots. Just be able to take what you dish out.

Thanks for the heads up. Unfortunately, me has to get up early tomorrow. I'm a fan of all former X Coaches, especially ones who elevated the program before leaving. Our loss was Arizona's tremendous game.

Nah,
I just think a coach above 1srt grade bball should know more than 2 defensive schemes. I also think when one's team has 3 turnovers in 4 possessions, one might want to take a time out. Mman, you're an insider. Does CM get 50k for every time out he doesn't use per game?
