Re: Chances within the NCAA Dance????
Georgetown is no real measurement of a turn around. G is a bottom feeder as of NOW!!! Losing to a bottom feeder now would be terrible, but a win is expected. The title of this is "Chances within the NCAA Dance??".....I expect X to make The NCAA Dance!!! Not making it would be unexpected and a big mistake by ??????.

Re: Chances within the NCAA Dance????
X not on the bubble yet but if they continue losing every game in the BE against the top tier teams, they will be on the bubble and outside looking in. X has benefitted from playing in the top 5 conference but lets be honest, seeing Marquette beat Creighton at Creighton does not bode well for X beating them. X has the players but the supporting staff and the bench is not strong and undeveloped. Goodin was supposed to be all-world and he has not improved. In conference he has 9 points and for the year he is 11-24 at the FT line. The bigs can't make point blank shots and the 3 point shooting on this team is ranked like 260 nationally-which makes you scratch your head that this is one of the critical parts of the offense. The best part of this team is that they get to the line-although they shoot poorly at the line. So chance at NCAA (assuming they get in) is one and done unless they figure out how to play offense and execute. Not a great season so far by most players and coaching staff. Today won't be a quality win but a BE win.XavierBob wrote:Not to be contrarian or start an argument X is nowhere near the bubble right now. If you remember two years ago X was 9-9 in league play and had 13 losses overall. People were worried then and they ended up with a 6 seed. They have plenty of opportunities to improve on their resume. Now, if they don't right the ship things could change. I personally believe they will get it together starting on Sunday.
