These players shoot hundreds of free throws daily. Did Jones get hurt?

Maybe thousands then? Every team under Mack has been poor at FT's. He knows it, that is why he finally snapped when he got hooked by the trolls on Twitter.

Yeah, we're in a shitstorm when Myles misses 2 free throws. 16/29 is flat out horrible. If I were the opposing team I'd foul Gaston every single time.

Free Throws are just part of the problem. Empty Possession/turnovers are inexcusable with an experienced team that has now played 18 games together. It is gut check time. Just look at the resolve that Butler and Creighton showed. When Butler was down five at half, they made the adjustments and executed near perfection in posting 58 second half points. In the Creighton game, Watson goes down and the team rallies on the road to pick up the W.

Check the excuses at the door and get your heads out of your arses and show some resiliency and play to the level you are capable of.

I attended the Butler game and didn't think it could get worse but it did and cost us both games. The shooting on this team is terrible and they keep jacking up 3 pointers. Hopefully we have some shooters in the 2018 class coming in. May be they should hire Brad Redford to teach FT shooting 101. At one point in High School he made 102 in a row. Unfortunately I see a once promising season slipping away ever too early

I understand there are 2 shooters in the 17 class, elias and Jared, 6'5 and 6'8.

Shooters we have now. The problem is they can't hit the target.

This team just doesn't handle pressure well right now. When the opponent makes a run, the shots stop falling, including FTs. Saturday, you know they could hear the groans from the crowd with the missed FTs. That got to them! When you are confident, and winning, shots falls under pressure, defense picks up in intensity, and FTs drop. The biggest difference between Butler, Creighton, Nova, and Xavier is: the other three are playing confident, we are not. When the game is on the line, they know they will win. They play better defense, hit clutch shots, and make FTs. We do not right now.

Not sure what the answer is. Floor leader? Probably. But it may be as simple as getting a couple of wins under our belt, especially with the game on the line. We will probably have that opportunity in our next two games.
