Myles should rub the rust off in practice, and leave Bernard, continue his improvement as a first rate player. Bernard is looking like a great find.

Trust in Mack?? You don't have a clue!! His team allowed FIFTY EIGHT POINTS in the second half and an average of over eighty the last four games. Both are completely unacceptable for an average division one team, much less a team that is supposed to be a contender in the BE. Mack makes no second half adjustments and his team is fundamentally poor in key areas like free throws and turnovers. X will have a disappointing second round exit in March, just like last season.muncie6569 wrote:I disagree with most of the posters today. We played a top 15 team on the road and ran it to the wire. We were not expected to win this game. We are curving up and per usual by March (Myles will be integrated into the team and role players will also be playing better) and we will be clicking like X always does by the dance. Every year this board has the same whining in mid January and by season end it's all "I told you we'd be ok " lol fans are the same every where every Year. We will be fine. Trust in Mack

Sorry if this came across as offensive, muncie6569, but when you come on here and post "Trust in Mack" when the results clearly show otherwise, expect to be called out on it.muncie6569 wrote:Thanks for sharing muskiefan92, and you did it in such a gracious and friendly way.

What fun would this site be if everyone thought like you Muncie ? Have you noticed the number of posts drops off when we win? LOL. We lost to 2 really good teams on the road. There's a lot of basketball to play. Aaron Rogers says "RELAX Xavier fans"muncie6569 wrote:I disagree with most of the posters today. We played a top 15 team on the road and ran it to the wire. Re: Butler Game thread 01/14/2017
I thought a key play in the game was at the end of the 1st half, X has the ball with 20-25 seconds left, a nine point lead with a chance to go up 11-12 at the half. Sumner, who has 0 points, jacks up an early, ill advised shot and Butler rebounds with enough time to hit a three. Instead of being up 11-12 they are up only 6. I think that creates a whole different mindset.

Re: Butler Game thread 01/14/2017
Check out the team shooting %, then check out our bigs shooting %. You tell me who should be shooting more and who should be shooting less?? I think we have a few players with an over inflated value of themselves and it's not good for team chemistry. Looks to me like some our 3 point experts are also allergic to playing defense!! It is obvious to me the games have become a showcase for talent rather than putting emphasis on team play....I believe Coach Mack is having a difficult time coaching a few of these guys....I see his facial expression as the ill advised 3"s are launched from way away from the basket early in the shot clock
