Let's hope the Butler doesn't do it today.

Butler benched Kelan Martin they will start Fowler, Chrabs, T-Lew, Woodson, Baldwin.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

I expect an upset. CM is pretty sensitive to public opinion, so I expect the amount of treys taken will be significantly reduced - unless they're hitting them at a high percentage. X has a decided advantage with their big 3, and Butler in the post. Gaston/Gates have to contain Chrab. to his average, but he's an excellent low post/3 point scorer. Similarly, Blueitt/Gaston/Gates ( I suspect all 3 will guard him at some point) have to contain Martin as well.

I also think despite his defensive limitations and sporadic offensive play this year, X needs to give SOM a chance to try and establish a low post game. He has no chance guarding Chrab., and will have a tough time guarding Fowler as well (who shoots well from 3), but I don't think they can guard SOM either. I expect him to play well.

Man for man, X has superior talent. However, the lack of disciplined play has been their culprit all year. it ends today.

Seacrest out.

Guess everyone is hanging out until the SJU- Nova game ends.
Mullin does a nice job of extending the game when his team has zero chance to win.

Game so far is at Butler's pace.
X's role players - RG and Bernard playing well to start.
Tre has struggled playing in his hometown.

Good move to take Tre out early. Nothing wrong with missing a step in, wide open 3, but then he puts up another circus shot which he and Jp do about 3x a game. Hopefully message learned - as JP misses a 30 footer - on cue.

X doing a great job driving the ball and incurring fouls. Almost in the bonus.

Savage pushed off with his left arm on that foul call on Q....same move Dunham used to make.
