I think what X tragedy was referring to Myles game shape. I fully expect Myles to be back, no doubt about it imo. The question is what kind of shape he will be in. Thats why I asked X Tragedy what he has heard. Lets all hope Myles is working out and shooting 3 point shots as we speak. I think he will be a huge assset to us. No, he isnt a traditional point guard, but believe his leadership will be key. He has always made great decisions when running point. Something we lack at the moment.muskienick wrote:Are we not going to believe Coach Mack? Re: Myles
my guess is Myles is smarter than some of you guys think he is and has been working out. Had he shown that he was goofing off there would not be the comments about his return but comments about how he needs to do more to prepare to play. I think there will be rust and it make take a game or two or three before he feels in the swing of competition.
I hope that some of our more critical fans give him some time and give him a chance to contribute instead of opening their mouths before they engage their brains.

I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Re: Myles
not sure if anyone else has heard this, but i've heard that Xavier(administration/higher ups/etc) wants Myles to pay his own way 2nd semester, keep suspension all the way through the season, and then play next season.
has anyone heard anything like this at all?
just making sure.

Re: Myles
I don't see how that would work, per NCAA rules on eligibility; and there is always the legal aspect if Xavier could even keep him from playing. I know that if I was him, and they tried that, I would have a lawsuit against the University filed so quick it would make their heads spin.
I am in no way tuned into what the Xavier admistration is or is not thinking, but I just don't see that as a plausible scenario.

Interesting but I'm still trying to get to the bottom of another rumor I've heard lately, that Santa Claus doesn't really exist.longliveskip wrote:not sure if anyone else has heard this, but i've heard that Xavier(administration/higher ups/etc) wants Myles to pay his own way 2nd semester, keep suspension all the way through the season, and then play next season.

Six years of college for Myles? He's already bald.Shadow wrote:Interesting but I'm still trying to get to the bottom of another rumor I've heard lately, that Santa Claus doesn't really exist.longliveskip wrote:not sure if anyone else has heard this, but i've heard that Xavier(administration/higher ups/etc) wants Myles to pay his own way 2nd semester, keep suspension all the way through the season, and then play next season.

Can't happen. Myles' eligibility is done after this year, whether he plays or not.longliveskip wrote:not sure if anyone else has heard this, but i've heard that Xavier(administration/higher ups/etc) wants Myles to pay his own way 2nd semester, keep suspension all the way through the season, and then play next season.

Xavier always goes to the NCAA tournament, and almost always makes some noise while there. Projecting anything less than that this season feels like folly--Eamonn Brennan (ESPN Summer Shootaround, 2012)
