any worse half in memory?

Postby oreobob » Sat Dec 03, 2016 6:07 pm

I remember the Bradley game in '58. I was a sophomore.

We have nothing inside. I bet Shid misses shots in the bunny line. Put in Rique and let h learn. Otherwise, we are a two man team.

I don't recall 5 good looks in the second half. Every good coach can defdnd a perimeter-only offense.

Some of JP's and MB's shots looked like panic. KAISER played very lazy.

17 TOs? *****.

Well, how 'bout XU vs TX 1990 NCAA battle to go to the Elite 8. That was a pretty bad 2nd half....

If I read the stats right, we had only 8 made two point shots. Tre did not even attempt one. Ed was 4/8, JP 1/10, Bigs were 3/10. I don't think we can suceed with that shot selection.

we had games last year were Myles or Tre did not have good games. It happens and becomes magnified against good teams. One loss against a top 10 team happens.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

To me, there was a "let's go out an collect a win in Colorado" effort tonight. Mailed it in.

Good old fashion Pac-12 butt kicking. Players sucked, but this one is on Mack.

Macura needs to learn how to finish at the basket. Then he would be so much better!

Went to the game last night, first time I've been able to watch us play live in a long, long time, so it was quite a disappointing outcome. There were quite a few X fans there on a bitterly cold night. Took our two girls, who happen to be recent Colorado grads, so they were happy. X looked out of synch after taking that nine-point lead. Can't figure out all those missed free throws, along with some bad shot selection and/or missed open shots. Only one OOC road game left -- UC -- so a lost opportunity. Need a win Saturday.

At home on a Sunday afternoon. I don't think any opposing coach hated us more than Speedy Morris.
