Didn't see the game b/c unbelievably, no channel in Denver decided not to carry it. Statisically speaking, it appears Gaston had a solid game. However, foul trouble with our bigs occured again tonight. Nice to see Goodin's numbers as well. Gate's return will give X a lot of options both offensively and defensively. He can guard multiple positions on switches, and is disciplined when contesting shots.
His shooting range will pull the opponent's bigs away from the lane, especailly when he plays the 4, giving Sumner even more room to drive to the basket. Like Posey when he played, Gates is my favorite player on the team. Future NBA player.

You must not have been watching the same Sean I was. He is just too slow afoot especially on defense. Thought Jones had a great game. Would like to hear something about when Gates will be back. Chris never says much about these things I remember last year he said Ed didn't have a concussion then he sat out 2-3 weeks with a "concussion ". Very concerned lack of depth will hurt in Orlando.oreobob wrote:I think Chris' message to those three was, .ASSERT.. Those three were fantastic.
Sesn was very good, bit he had to sit. Good passer and hood degendrr on tje perimeter
I'm optimistic again!!!!!!

Thank you officials for making this game impossible to watch. Not sure what a foul is or isn't. Impressed with Jones and Goddin. Jones is raw but had a great motor. Agree on Sean just doesn't have quickness and defensive ability to stay on floor, so hopefully jones and Gaston can fill in gap. nice game for JP.

At least one of the fouls Sean got (when the Buffalo player tripped over Sean's stationary foot) was totally bogus, and another 1-2 may have been as well. The refs saw many things against both teams as fouls during this game that won't be fouls come January. Once he got back in the game, the second half, he was able to avoid any more fouls. Haven't researched it, but didn't Reynolds have the same problem in early games last year? He is what he is, and quickness will never be a part of his game. Big Stain wasn't quick either, but played smart to overcome that. Let's hope Sean can to.hoosiermuskie wrote:You must not have been watching the same Sean I was. Re: Buffalo Game Thread 11/14/16
the fouls just killed the rhythm of this game. most were on Buffalo, though, so that helped.
we hit our FTs, took care of the ball, won the rebounding battle. usually those 3 things are very telling stats, including that we MADE more FT's than our opponents attempted.
4 guys in double figures with 2 others at 9 and 7.
good balance.
let's get ready for 3 days of some great competition in Puerto Rico........errrrr, Orlando.

Sean played ok after 3 or 4 of their best players
Fouled out. He seems to show very little enthusiasm on the bench. Players such as Gaston were cheering and encouraging the subs. Sean seemed to mope.
