Buffalo Game Thread 11/14/16

[bluegrass]

How many offensive fouls did Buffalo have?seemed like a seasons worth. I like Jones. He may get more playing time than O'Mara .

X up 19 at the half.
Take away Buffalo's 5 3's and they had a wretched 1H - they shot 2-12 from inside the 3 pt arc.

Big Sean picks up 2 quick fouls in the first 2 minutes.
Off to the bench with 4 fouls.
Rashid and Jones will need to step up.

Did not see the Lehigh game and this game not complete, however, Q Goodin appears to be an upgrade as a back-up PG.

Agree...better player than LA Jr.
Some nice assists for Q tonight plus knocked down a 3

Little Stain hits a 3

Better game tonight....a foul-a-thon.
The 2 frosh played well - Q and "Basketball" Jones.
11 boards and 2 blocks for Tyrique and 11 pts, 4 assists and 2 TO's for Q.
On to Disney World.

Much better game, against a lesser opponent. Buffalo was unable to apply any defensive pressure because of their foul troubles, so the jury is still out on how X does against pressure. They did do a better job on turnovers and played much better defense than the last game. I thought all of the new players showed flashes of talent and just seem to need time to adjust and get used to ball at this level.

Really really hard to evaluate the team based on 2 games, but what we have seen so far is encouraging for the most part.

Good win tonight, keep it up. Liked what I saw out of Jones, Goodin, and Gaston. Good to see others contributing tonight. We'll need it.
