X vs Georgia closed scrimage
Means almost nothing but for coach's evaluations but Xavier beat Georgia in closed scrimmage. Best players for X were said to be TB and JP, while Maten stood out for Bulldogs, per source. Neutral floor in Nashville at Trevecca U.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Interesting that Ed wasn't on the list, but there is only one ball.

I hear that JP has been tearing it up in practice as well.

I Guess there will be no suspension for JP because of his foolishness this spring. At the Hamilton Steak Fry Travis Steele said that was up in the air but there was internal discipline.

I have to admit that I really enjoy JP's "take no prisoner's" style of play. I am reminded of Kevin Frey who brought a similar attitude to the game.
In both cases, I completely understand that opponents and their fans, and even some XU fans will think otherwise,
but the kid has guts as well as talent and doesn't apologize for it. I also admit that I am glad he is not on a team that plays against us.

my guess is JP lands on every other team in the Big East's list of "favorite player to hate".
that's fine with me.
glad he's on our team.

Amen to that. There have been many players on other teams who have grated on me during their careers, all of which lasted for five years or more.26+6=1 wrote:I have to admit that I really enjoy JP's "take no prisoner's" style of play.
