Depth chart
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Re: Depth chart
Muskieman - I am (maybe) too high on Jones. I based my feelings on his 2:15 you tube when he looked like a dunking machine, a shot blocking and rebounding player. I assume (and you have contacts I do not have) that you meant he would not be much of a factor this year. Maybe I should not put so much importance in a video on you tube. And maybe it was just wishful thinking on my part. Time will tell. Go Xavier!

Re: Depth chart
I think Bernard is a nice wildcard for us off the bench, especially if he can handle playing guard. I don't know his age, but would assume around 23. He has a lot of experience and averaged 4.3 assists and 2.3 steals last year, to go along with 14.4 points and 7.1 rebounds. He is listed and G/SF. I know these stats were at Florida A&M, but he has that veteran experience.

Re: Depth chart
yea a rebounding machine, who might be the sub for Gates. Let's hope Chris has a hard time deciding because they both are studs for us.jct1941 wrote:Muskieman - I am (maybe) too high on Jones. Re: Depth chart
I've watched 10 clips of Tyrique. He has a nice looking midrange jumper and can go left.

Re: Depth chart
Jones is really raw offensively and mainly can only score from a few feet in so they are not expecting much from him early. Depth will be a concern in the back court especially if Davis gets suspended for the first semester

Re: Depth chart
I don't know why you say Tyrique is raw. In the videos I watched, he would often set up on the perimeter in the half-court and could go left or shoot over the defense. My guess he gets Kaiser-like minutes.

Re: Depth chart
That is according to some people close to the program. Those you tube videos are against high school kids and don't mean much.

Re: Depth chart
but that does not diminish those videos because even the 5 star players are playing high school kids.skyhops wrote:That is according to some people close to the program. Those you tube videos are against high school kids and don't mean much.
