X lands a sharp shooter

Jared Ridder, he had offers from Oklahoma St, Arkansas, and Iowa State. 6'7" he can play power or small forward. Corey Evans called him "a premier shooter in the 2017 class"

I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

JP and Trevon were considered two of the best shooters in their class--Edmund not far behind. Then Mack goes after the muscle for this year in Eddie, Quenten, and Tyrique. Now back to shooters--you can always use shooters--and then teach them defense. Nice strategy considering the possibility of losing Edmund and Trevon after next year.

With the NBA changing courses and looking at multiple 3-point shooters and an agile, run-the-floor big man, I can see that trend filtering to the college level. Four guards/forwards that can all rebound and push it and stop and shoot with one long athletic big man. There seem to be a number on Mack's list in the 6'4" to 6'7" size that can play multiple positions.

Looks like a good get.

yeah, sounds like a really nice asset. especially given the fact that many other guys they are after for 2017 are apparently not highly regarded as good shooters.

they will need wings and while this guy might not be a big get he is a solid get. More of a set shooter versus JP and more of a 4 than a three. Needs to learn to play D, improve foot speed and quickness. He probably will be a role player when X needs to bring a 4 outside Now let's get the kid Matthews, from UK, and at least one or more of Paul Scruggs or Naji Marshall( which seems like a good possibility at this point) or Jermaine Samuels. Jared is a good piece but can not be the best of the class. X will have a good number of open positions.
