Great link, great story, thanks japer. I was cringing when I read the thread headline, and I think I need M Hettel to decipher a bit of the math, but the game analysis was professional and concise.

Question: for the purpose of the discussion in this article, do you think it is it one "possession" if a team gets two offensive rebounds and scores on the third shot; or is that three possessions?

they way I have always understood it is that anytime the shotclock is reset to 35 it is a new possession.
