Re: mass game on channelsurfing.net
I'm on the West Coast and therefore dependent on internet to get XU games. Today when I saw there were problems with channelsurfing feed, I was foolish enough to purchase CSTV feed through Xavier website. Same problems---erratic picture and no sound. This has happened before---anyone else have similar experiences? Don't know recourses but at least want to let Xavier this is not working.

SF Muskie: If it's an option, get DirecTV. With their Sports Package (Between $9-$12/mo depending on your plan, I believe) you get ESPNU, CSTV and Fox Sports Cincinnati. CSTV is even in HD. You can pretty much see any game that is televised.sfmuskie wrote:I'm on the West Coast and therefore dependent on internet to get XU games. If you can't get DirecTV, head to a sports bar with a lot of TVs and ask them if they will dedicate one to the XU game on whatever channel it's played. Most good sports bars have DirecTV and sports package. You probably won't get sound unless there's no one watching anything else (in which case it's probably not a very good sports bar) but at least you can watch the game. And if you really want to hear something, you can get a portable XM Radio, pay the monthly fee during the season, and tune into 700 WLW (which is carried on XM nationally) and listen to Byron and Joe.

Re: mass game on channelsurfing.net
PS: I have had horrible experience trying to watch CSTV online. I got screwed last year during the tournament and screwed again this year for the Creighton game. I don't know what it is about my computers, but it just doesn't work for me. I remember the message boards during the Creighton game -- for some it worked just fine, for me it was horrible.
All of this reminds me that CSTV owes me a refund...

Re: mass game on channelsurfing.net
Thanks for the info LA muskie. I really don't watch that much Tv and therefore don't want to invest in Direct tv
but I do thoroughly listening to Joe and Byron--they are great and I pick them up through an audio feed on the internet.
Otherwise, I guess I have to persevere through the inconsistensies of CSTV/channelsurfing.
