just because dook hasn't won it all in a while doesn't mean this game isn't worth anything...last i checked/remember from facebook (clearly a good source), dook had the number one hated program and the number 2 or 3 liked program. So even if they aren't the team of old, a lot of people follow them...if we lose, we're just another team that lost to them, but if we win, we're one of 5-8 teams that beat dook during the regular season and that's actually something to hang your hat on.


it's a great opportunity for us a program. the absolute worst situation out of this is we lose and we appear to be an "rpi booster" to other good teams for next year when everyone one and their mother think we're gonna be at our best level ever.

even if we lose, we're still opening doors for ourselves. no matter what, this game is a step in the right direction for this basketball program. so let's all celebrate for now

i think Duke is suppose to be a top 5 or top 10 pre season ranked team...so if they are not as good as most think....this is a chance to beat a top ranked team when X plays them...good for the RPI and SOS if nothing else
